Delegates Meeting - 27th February 2009

Minutes of the meeting held Friday, 27th February, 2009.

Roll Call of Teams.

Horbury Cons And Thornhill Edge were not represented. Thornhill Edge will now receive a 6 point deduction.

Minutes of Meeting.

The minutes of the last meeting having been circulated were taken as a true record, proposed by Eastborough WMC and seconded by Hanging Heaton WMC.

Secretaries Report.

All delegates were given an , which is also on the web site.

All clubs were asked to send missing results as soon as possible.

All clubs were informed that any outstanding games from the 2nd February could be played at the end of the season. Some delegates thought that this was unfair on clubs who had already played their games, so with that in mind clubs were asked to complete games before the end of the season if possible.

Delegates were also given an entry form for next season’s league this must be returned on or before 24th April with all relevant fees to Earlsheaton Con Club (this is not a meeting but entry form collection only).

Competitions Secretary's Report.

Any Other Business.

One delegate asked if a player threw his cue onto the table and disturbed the balls did this constitute conceding the frame?

Referee John Crowther stated that any such interference with the balls meant that the frame was conceded. League Chairman Derek Pickett also said that such behaviour should not be tolerated. Referee Phil Green added that if a club had a query about any rules they could ring him at Middlestown club or John Crowther at Earlsheaton Cons on the night.
