A.G.M. 2011

Minutes of the A.G.M. held Friday, 3th June, 2011.

Roll Call of Teams.

The following clubs were not represented and are reminded that missing any further meetings will result in points deduction.

Dewsbury I.N., Edge Top W.M.C., Gawthorpe Cons., Hanging Heaton C.C., Horbury Cons., Upper Hopton W.M.C., Brighton St W.M.C., Thornhill Edge W.M.C., Westborough Ratepayers, White Rose P & S.C., Brook House, Tingley W.M.C.

Chris Kaye stood in as chairman in the absence of Derrick Pickett.

Minutes of A.G.M. 2009.

The minutes of the 2010 meeting have been circulated and are proposed as a true record by Middlestown W.M.C. and seconded by Hanging Heaton W.M.C.

Secretary's Report.

The secretary reported that next years league would be made up of 55 teams; 14 in sections P, A and B and 13 in section C.

Competitions Secretary's Report.

The secretary reported that all this season's competitions had been completed but many matches were not completed on time resulting in delays. It was proposed that the result of any match not completed by the due date would be decided at the monthly delegates meeting. This was passed unanimously.

Treasurer's Report.

The league balance sheet was presented by Ged Chadwick and was proposed as a true record by Colin North and seconded by Phil Green.

Election of Officers.

All presiding officers were re-elected unopposed.

Any Other Business.

This years merit tankard was awarded to Shaun Terry.

A letter of thanks from retiring treasurer Tony Bullock was read out.

Dates to Note.

Next season's handbooks will be available at Earlsheaton Cons. At 7.30 P.M. On Friday 19th August and the first matches will be on Monday 5th September.
